May DCm (and other info!) =]

Hey D37S!
The DCM this month will be held on Sunday, May 23rd at 12:30 PM at Kit Carson Park (click for directions!). I will also be announcing who my new assistants/editor are at this DCM so please come and meet them! :)
Please have an officer bring a list of members who have paid for the banquet (event details: http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=112712438767971&ref=ts) as well as their money. If you have not started advertising, please begin getting the word out to your members because I will need a final number and payment from each club by June 4th (no tickets will be sold at the door; everyone must RSVP and pay their officers beforehand)!
DIVISIONAL SHIRTS

If you know someone who is especially creative/artistic, please let them know that I am currently looking for a design (front and back) for the 2010-2011 divisional shirt!

Design must have -

1. The Key Club logo, Division 37 South (or something to that effect), Region 2, Cali-Nev-Ha, and a red bull

2. names of all the schools in 37S

3. Useage of divisional colors! (red and white)
Entries will be due to me at 8 PM June 30th and the winner will receive a free shirt!

For those of you who are planning on attending ICON, I just wanted to remind you that registration must be received by May 17th! (for more info, click here)
Final reminder: Please remember that MRFs are due on the 5th and to upload your articles to the reflector for divisional points! :)

Still in Construction

I have not been able to access a computer to update this blog. I am currently in school and this is the only way to let people know that this blog is far from being done. I am going to get tips from two of the most tech wizards I know, Ms. Priester and a good friend Jose Garcia. So, do not criticize this blog just yet, more is to come.

New Blog!

YAY! San Pasqual Academy Key club finally has a blog! Although, there are still many improvements and advancements needing to be made to this blog. Any ideas? What else can we do to be in the new world of technology? After our 7 students and 3 advisors returned from DCON many ideas of service were expressed. We are looking forward to putting these ideas in to action and helping the community in the best most efficient way. Like Keith Hawkins said, we should GO HUMAN! In order to help the earth we need to help each other and encourage each other to do good. If you have a friend and you know that they are doing wrong, help them out. Do not try to be over powering and controlling, but be there for them because they will need your help. Key Club is a family, and no matter how hard somethings may get, you will be there and help them get through the thick and thin. I can say for the most students at SPA, if not all, we have been through many hardships in our lives that make us just want to give up and quit. But, in the end we pull our act together and help one another get through it. We let each other know that it is not the end of the world. So, the deal with this blog... every time our Key Club meets someone from the club will publish what was discussed in the meeting. We are not to sure yet who that person may be since re-elections for office is approaching. If there is any other adults, parents, teachers, principals, students, etc in California, Nevada, and Hawaii  who would like to know more about Key Club you can contact us or visit the Cali-Nev-Ha website .
